3D Modeling

A number of standard functions make it easy to define the 3D model. Most functions are based on 2D / 3D curves or on given surfaces. Some surfaces are simply defined by entering such parameters as length, width, height and so on.

2D/3D curves: Defining 2D curves out of circles, lines or splines and 3D Bezier polygons allows you to create a wide range of free-form surfaces.

  • Surface between several profiles.

  • Surfaces along one or two directrices with as many intermediate profiles as you like.

  • Surface with (variable) draft angle to a directrix.

  • Surface with (variable) draft angle to given surfaces.

  • Surfaces of rotation.

  • Profile surfaces, with directrix.

  • Intersecting surfaces, filling surfaces.

CAD interfaces

Due to the increase of specialization and the amplitude of range CAD / CAD systems have convert data soft exchange more and more essential.

EUKLID CAD / CAM ensuring the secure exchange of information, using a wide range or an efficient standard of direct interfaces.

Data Preparation

Today, an accurate model of information with surfaces that fit perfectly, is an optimal requirement for a milling process.

The EUKLID's special functions allow a rapid quality improvement of important joints of three surfaces, repair or creation in case of deficient or missing surfaces, and to optimize, save time of machining, allows the importation of surfaces to be used in the following point.

  • Automatically repairs cracks and fills holes in the middle of as many surfaces as you like.

  • Automatically corrects the limits of deficient surfaces.

  • Removes double surfaces.

  • Extend geometric edges.
